Body odour is an unpleasant smell coming from our body when bacteria that live on the skin break down sweat into acids. If some measures are not taken, body odour usually becomes evident when a human reaches puberty that is 14-16 years of age for females and 15-17 years of age for males.
People who are obese, those who regularly eat spicy foods as well as individuals with certain medical conditions such as diabetes are more susceptible to having body odour. People who sweat a lot may also be susceptible to body odour.
The best way to avoid getting body odour is to keep areas of your body that are prone to sweating clean and free of bacteria.
Use soap to wash every day, paying particular attention to the areas that produce the most sweat, such as your armpits, genital area and feet. Washing removes sweat and reduces the number of bacteria on your skin. Changing and washing your clothes regularly will also help.
Radish Juice and Glycerin – Body Odour: Crush two dozen radishes. Squeeze juice out, add a quarter teaspoon of glycerin and put in a spray-top bottle. Use as a deodorant.
